ElevenTail is the starting point that I use when building a site where I want to have:

To get started using ElevenTail for a site of your own:
git clone YOUR_REPO_URL
npm install
netlify dev
This will give you a local build and a local server which detects changes to give live rebuilds and reloads.
If you are planning to deploy your site to Netlify, you will also automatically get local support for the Netlify redirects API by running your local build with the command netlify dev
.

The possum became a playful mascot for Eleventy thanks to the wonderful James Williamson. He and Zach Leatherman, Eleventy's creator, shared a playful sense of humor which culminated in this marvelously silly icon. Following the sad loss of James, Zach commissioned a more formal possum illustration who's reminiscence of an O'Reilly book cover illustration inspired the design of this little site.
